Bortir Bill-The Perfect Destination For Refreshing Your Mind

Last sunday I had visited an offbeat destination which is very near to our hometown. Its just 1.5-2 hours of journey from Kolkata. Its on Barasat-Barakpur road. The original name of Bortir Bill is 32(Bortirisher)Bill.Its been told that there are 32 villages whose water are being stored in these waterbodies. Its a good ideal place to be with nature,to fill up the fresh air in your soul and body,to see the villagers ploughing and fishing.

  1.    I and my husband and daughter just was searching where to chill our in this Covid time.Because we cant travel very far but we were not also in a mood to stay at home on Sundays. So  by taking the help of Google  we finally found this place. And the place is such worthy to visit.

After travelling on Barasat-Barakpur road which will head towards Neelganj bazaar. There is a medical shop called Uma Medical Hall.We took the opposite lane and went straight towards Beraberia and then took the lane just beside Das Enterprise. So we just took the narrow village lane and reached there. There are paddy fields all around,a small jungle where you can just stop and take a look to the huge fields where different kinds of vegetables are growing and tractors are ploughing the fields.
Everywhere there is freshness all around and you can only hear the sound of birds and the murmuring of leaves.I was really stunned that this kind of a village really is present at so much near our hometown.

Huge group of people gather on winter months for picnic but I will say that it will be perfect if one visit at the time of monsoon.Because at that time the waterbodies are filled with water and boats are there where you can sit and feel the nature around and also the boatman will take you near the an area where you can find numerous Shaluk flower blooming in the water. It is so beautiful. But as we visited in November,we could not ride the boat as the water is very less. But all total the place is marvellous. One must visit at least once to rejuvenate his/her mind.

Conclusion-Finally,I just want to tell you to visit Bortir Bill to enjoy nature if you really a nature love and also to experience village life. The perfect destination for refreshing your mind.
